Fun Times at The Pumpkin Patch!!

 So...I know it has been a while since I posted pictures on the blog, but I've been sorting through all the North Shore and Wisconsin

pictures finding the perfect ones to put on the blog....These pictures are from two weekends ago...we visited the

pumpkin patch with Bill and Shanda and their family, and also Grandpa and Beckie.  For some reason though, Travis isn't in any of these pictures...he was there, just in the field catching bugs! :)

North Shore 2011 Part 2

 This was a new friend that I made in Canada...I was about 5 feet away from him!!...He was super friendly!!

 Kakabeka Falls, Ontario Canada...Largest waterfall I've ever seen!!!

 Sunset over the Grand Marais lighthouses...a perfect ending to a perfect north shore day!

 We woke up early...so glad we did...would hate to miss a beautiful sunrise like this!!!!

 We visited Maple Hill...just up the Gunflint Trail...looking down the road at how the maples form a perfect circle over the road!

So this is a picture that my mom took along the north shore on Tuesday...

Apparently rock balancing is HUGE here!  My mom thought these three statues represented our family....

First day of Dance

Monday, September 12th was Rosie's first day of dance...she could hardly wait for class to begin...she wanted to know how many times she had to count to 60 before class started...this is a picture of her waiting for class to start.

It makes me happy to see her enjoying something so much.  When I go to pick her up she is ready to go and can't wait to get to class...I will be posting pictures randomly of her dancing success!! :)

Minnesota State Fair!!!

We went to the state fair on Thursday September 1st...

It was by far the HOTTEST day of the fair!!

100 degree heat index...but we had a ton of fun!!!!

 Rosie and I went into the Butterfly House...

She loved holding the butterflies!

 This was her favorite one...you can't tell in the picture

but it's wings were brown on one side and bright blue on the other...

 She spent about a half-hour just holding the butterflies...

 This is her next favorite...a monarch
